OBILJEŽAVANJE 155. OBLJETNICE ROĐENJA JOSIPA KOZARCA
I 140. OBLJETNICE ROĐENJA ANTUNA GUSTAVA MATOŠA
U okviru projekata Udišemo šumu Josipa Kozarca i Sjećanje na Antuna Gustava Matoša 12. prosinca 2013. godine učenici recitatori održali su u školi prigodni program. Uz poticaj profesorice Ivane Petričević učenici su kroz ppt prezentaciju, iščitavanje pojedinih ulomaka, recitacije te glazbeni dio iskazali želju da profesorima i učenicima prikažu značaj naših zavičajnika. Prigodni program sastojao se iz dvaju dijelova, prvi dio bio je u znaku Josipa Kozarca, a drugi dio u znaku Antuna Gustava Matoša.
Učenica Lorena Osrečki, 3. b, putem ppt prezentacije iznijela je zanimljive podatke iz života i književnoga djelovanja Josipa Kozarca.
Potom je lik J. Kozarca odglumio David Marčinko, 2. g, te sve nazočne uputio u neke manje poznate osobine našega književnika.
Ulomke iz proznih djela Josipa Kozarca iščitale su Nensi Mitrović, 1. a (Slavonska šuma), Martina Dretvić, 2. a (Moj djed) i Katarina Šanić, 2. a (Tri dana kod sina).
U drugi dio programa uvela nas je Lorena Osrečki iznijevši zanimljivosti iz života Antuna Gustava Matoša, a potom je uslijedio poetski kolaž pjesama A. G. Matoša. Pjesme su recitirali Mirela Grigić, 2. a (Gospa Marija), Martina Zahorai, 2. a (Stara pjesma), Paula Jergović, 3. b (Jesenje veče), Mia Šimunić, 3. b (1909.) i Tomislav Knežević, 2. g (Utjeha kose).
U glazbenom dijelu programa sudjelovala je Vedrana Vrtarić, 3. b, a program je vodila Danica Šarić, 2. a.

Članice Prosudbenoga povjerenstva bile su profesorice Ivana Hojski, Helena Voda i Ivana Petričević.
Tri najbolje pjesme napisale su Nikolina Matušinski (2. b), Ana-Maria Stanković (2. g) i Paula Jergović (3. b).

HRASTOV HLAD
Sakriven u srcu šume s gljivama pod dnom, uzdiže se moćni hrast, stvara ponos zavičaju svom. Baca on sjenu, stvara i hlad, vine se u nebo, da ga vidi i star i mlad. Al' ga takne ruka čovjeka, nježnom okrutnošću ona ga sasiječe, nestade hlada divna hrasta tog pa njegov vijek sada iznova kreće. Nikolina Matušinski, 2. b |
SLAVONSKA ŠUMA
Lišće stoljetnog hrasta prekriva rumene gljive. Njih je skupljao seljak kad bi išao s njive. Širokim krošnjama prolazi jesenji vjetar. Šumskim stazama šeće vepar. Nekada davno, njima su kročile vile. SLAVONSKA ŠUMA
Sunce je kroz krošnje probilo zrake svoje i vjetar u krošnjama tiho svira, list po list pada, svaki druge boje, ovdje srce pronašlo je mira. Tu se čuju tajnoviti zvuci, a lišće je meko kao od svile. Tu noću gospodare vuci, a zorom pjevaju slavonske vile. Pod mojim nogama grančica puca, lakše hodam, opuštam se sve više. Slušam kako srce šume kuca, duboko dišem, a i šuma sa mnom diše. Preda mnom se uzdiže hrast stari, visok i snažan već dugo prkosno živi, ponos je ove šume naše i svaki stvor njemu se divi. I ja se divim tom ponosnom divu, njegovim stoljetnim granama što mnoge priče kriju i snažnom korijenju kojim je vezan uz moje srce i moju Slavoniju. Paula Jergović, 3. b |
COMENIUS JEZIČNA ASISTENTICA
Na početku ove školske godine u školi nam se pridružila i nova Comenius jezična asistentica. Theresa Rüßmann ima 23 godine i dolazi iz Njemačke. Njezine prve dojmove o našoj školi, možete pročitati na engleskom jeziku.
My first impressions
I had a great time when the hair dressing teachers took me on a day trip through the east of Slawonia.
I am Theresa Rüßmann (23), the new Comenius Assistant. I have just finished my Master of Education in the subjects English and Music in Braunschweig in Lower Saxony, Germany. My parents and my three siblings live in Cologne. On 9th September I had my first day at this school and I will stay until the Christmas holidays start.
My first impressions at your school were great. On my first day students saw me waiting in front of the school and asked me to take a seat in the cafeteria, saying they would send my mentor Livija Katarinic, who I wanted to meet, to me as soon as they would spot her. Although she turned up one minute later anyway, it was a nice feeling that people obviously care about the people around them. I was shown around the school and really liked how everybody, be it in classrooms or the staff room, welcomed me very cheerfully. Furthermore, I was invited to classes especially in the first days very spontaneously. Teachers at this school are first of all very flexible and secondly they are well prepared and know that they can take me to any class. Also I enjoy that students do useful things like painting the corridors and classrooms, making the working clothes for the caterers and last but not least making delicious things, we can buy at the school’s cafeteria.
They let me have first teaching experiences after only a few days, which I am very eager on.
Beyond the activities directly related to my job at the school I am invited to excursions as well. I had a great time when the hair dressing teachers took me on a day trip through the east of Slawonia. It was a pleasure to get to know them as well as the visiting group from Plymouth. I am also looking forward to two other excursions, to Zagreb and to Graz. This is such a great opportunity to get to know the teachers and students and the region as well. I guess it is a quite important part of experiencing the culture(s) of Croatia. Moreover I also get private invitations to visits of cultural events. This makes me very happy.
All in all I have the feeling that the staff trust me, which in turn motivates me. They let me have first teaching experiences after only a few days, which I am very eager on. I am also grateful for the feedbacks afterwards. Although they only have 5 minutes breaks and have to talk the whole day due to the nature of their job anyway, they still reflect lessons, answer my questions or introduce me to new people. Therefore I am really looking forward to the time at this school and slowly get the feeling that three months will be over far too soon.

Pjesnički natječaj Moj hrvatski
Prigodom obilježavanja Dana europskih jezika ostvaren je pjesnički natječaj naslovljen Moj hrvatski (objavljen 16. rujna 2013.).
Nositeljice natječaja bile su profesorice Livija Pribanić-Katarinić i Helena Voda.
Prosudbeno povjerenstvo činile su profesorice Ivana Hojski, Helena Voda i Ivana Petričević.

MOJ HRVATSKI
Prve riječi, prva slova, kao kad se uči hodati, malo pričaš, malo padaš, uspjehu se većem nadaš. K'o koraci i riječi se u glavama našim roje pa godinu za godinom množimo to blago svoje. Svakim danom korak čvršći, a u glavi šuma riječi, kao lišće grana šušti, moj hrvatski raste, pršti. MOJ JEZIK
Od prve riječi što sam rekla kao mala, da sam hrvatsko dijete, bilo je jasno. Da je jezik važan, tad nisam znala, ali sada ga govorim ponosno i glasno. Odrasla sam i sve više mu se divim, štitim ga, za njega se borim i živim. Da je najljepši na svijetu, ne sramim se reći, iako je zahtjevan i težak, ja volim to bogatstvo riječi. Zbog njega sam to što jesam, zbog njega sam puna sreće, moje srce taj jezik nikad zaboraviti neće. I zahvalna sam mu, vidi mi se na licu, jer od malog djeteta stvorio je ponosnu Hrvaticu!
